Chocolate factory Retrofit (Scan to BIM)
This is an abandoned former Chocolate producing facility, established in the first part of the 20 th century. It was well-known internationally, for the high quality sweet products. The floor plan of the facility is about 2500 sqm and it has 5 Floors.
The client's goal was to transform the building structure into a residential complex. The BIM model has been created from point cloud data. The LOD level is 300, but most of the exterior decorations, gutters are missing.
Over the years the factory machines created huge load and pressure. The condition of the load-bearing columns / beams are critical, especially in the basement area. The existing structure has been supported with extra steel "channel and I-beams". All the equipments were removed, so the slabs and walls are damaged.

Office building (Scan to BIM)
In this particular project, the contractor reached out our firm, to survey a financial office building. We have to create a precise 3D model, in order to re-design the office layout. The final technical drawings will be given to the Mechanical / HVAC Engineers to execute the necessary adjustments. The Floor plan is a simle rectangle, with a total of 2800 m2 valuable space. The load-bearing structure has reinforced concrete beams and columns.
Grain Mill (Scan to BIM)
This is a complex Scan to BIM project of a Grain Mill, located in Hungary. The company has been comissioned us to build a BIM model in LOD 300 ( Level of Detail ) for their engineering team. They want to increase the production volume and remove some equipment, so the provided geometry can support the disassembly process. The main component of this mill, is the Silos, located in the middle, and supported with H-shape steel beams and columns. The intake/delivery areas are placed on each ends of the facility. Apart from the Silos, the mill has other machines as well, such as ( Bucket Elevators, Conveyors, Cyclon Separator, Scaler and so on... )
The BIM model has full MEP and HVAC system. All these element are placed on individual layers, in order to support the engineering team, when they want to search a specific item. The building itself has reinforced concrete foundation. The load-bearing walls are insulated, and they have a 10 cm thich concrete core. The exterior walls are coveres with small sized red brick. The building has some steel structures outside as well, such as ( industrial ladder and catwalk ).
Boiler room (Scan to BIM)
This is a "Boiler Room" of a commercial facility, created from a point cloud. Technology is included, such as pipes, fittings and other equipments. ( MEP and HVAC systems ).The goal of the survey was, to provide the maintenance team the required technical drawings. They can use it for repair and further expansion if necessary. The Level of Detail ( LOD ) is 300, because flanges, valves and pipe insulations are indicated. This 3D model can be integrated into panorama pictures, in order to create a "Digital Twin".
